Top Three Places I Want to Visit in the US

Hi everyone, it’s Victoria, and Happy Fourth of July to all those who are celebrating today! In the spirit of America and keeping with my everlasting wanderlust, I would like to talk about my dream travel destinations in the United States in today’s blog post. The United States has a rich history, and a wide variety of nature and places to visit, and I can only hope to take many road trips someday to visit them all!

Seattle, Washington
For me, my desire to go to Seattle is all about the culture and music. Grunge music started in Seattle, and the music is so deeply rooted there that any music fan would appreciate the city and the music that was made there. Personally, Nirvana was one of the bands that impacted me and my music influence, so being able to walk the streets where they lived and being able to see Kurt Cobain’s house, would be deeply meaningful for me.

New York City
Everything about the city that never sleeps is attractive. I love the idea of it never being empty and the idea that something is always going on, no matter the day or time. New York is an international melting pot of ideas and cultures, so there is something for everyone, whether you’re a foodie or a history the nerd. The art museums and Broadway are my favorite touristy things in the city, but I would love to do a food tour or to visit The New York Times building or the Rolling Stone office someday.

North Carolina
And maybe this is cheating by listing a whole state, but there are just so many places in North Carolina I want to visit! I’ve never been to the state, but I fell in love with it while looking at colleges online and by making cruise friends from across the state. Wilmington, Charlotte, and Asheville are the three main places I would like to visit, but I would love to finally visit anywhere in the state and explore their downtowns and surrounding nature.

Once again, Happy Fourth of July to all celebrating, as as always, thank you for reading!
