Resort Review: Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas

Hello there! It's Gabe again, and I have a sort of follow up to the previous article, today I will be reviewing the Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas! If you would like to go and check out the Saratoga Springs review, click here.

Overview

The Treehouse Villas are located in their own area away from the main resort, there is a separate vehicle entrance to the Treehouse Villas, and a walking path connects the Treehouses to the main areas at Saratoga Springs. The Treehouse area includes a small swimming pool, a boat dock with boat service to Disney Springs, and bus stops for transportation to Saratoga Springs; the Treehouse guests are also able to use all the amenities at Saratoga Springs, including the feature pools which are more exciting.

The Treehouse Units

The treehouses themselves are octagonal shaped buildings which are elevated off the ground, each villa has a private staircase (some include ramps), a private patio, and a private grill. Inside the units, there are three bedrooms, two with a queen bed, and one with bunk beds. There is also a spacious living area, with a dining area and a full kitchen. The treehouse has two bathrooms, one is connected to one of the queen bed rooms, and another is shared among the other two bedrooms. Due to the unique shape of the treehouse there are various windows in each room, and each window seems to provide a slightly different view, which is quite nice; the areas around the treehouses consist of some pretty heavy wooded areas, so you will probably not have a view of a neighboring treehouse, the access road, or the parking area.

Transportation

Transportation at the Treehouse villas is sort of odd, at least compared to the more full scale resorts. Guests can, obviously, bring their own vehicle, and there are groupings of parking spaces near the treehouse access paths, which connect groupings of a few treehouses. There are also Disney bus stops located at the Treehouse Villas area, the bus service is exclusively to/from Saratoga Springs (I believe the Treehouse bus drops off and picks up at the Springs bus stop). So to bus to the parks, you will have to make your way to Saratoga Springs, either by bus or by the walking path. There is also a boat dock at the Treehouse villas area, the boat services Disney Springs.
