Photo Collection: Washington DC

Hello again! It's Gabe here with a photo collection from Washington DC! All photos in this post were taken by me.

The image on the top left here, is of the Washington Monument, and the reflecting pond in front of it. The image just to the right of that is of the White House, where the President of the United States lives. Just below is an image of the Supreme Court of the United States.

The image on the top left here is from the Franklin Delano Roosevelt memorial. Just to the right of that is a photo from Arlington National Cemetery, where John F Kennedy's grave site is. The photo on the bottom left is from the Lincoln memorial, which is one of the more famous in Washington DC. Just to the right of that is the Thomas Jefferson memorial.

Here, both pictures on the top are from the World War II memorial, which is very impressive in person, both in it's size and impact. Just below those photos is the Holocaust museum in Washington DC which is very touching, the building was actually designed to mimic the style of the death camps in Europe where the victims of the Holocaust were sent to.

This set of pictures all come from George Washington's estate, Mount Vernon, which is just outside the city in Virginia. The estate still houses farm animals, such as the sheep seen here; the estate is also home to the resting place of both George and Martha Washington.

This is a picture of one of the pandas at the National Zoo in Washington DC. The National Zoo is considered one of the finest in the country.

Thanks for reading along! Hope you enjoyed the photos, leave a comment below on your favorite place, or one that you are dying to see in Washington DC!
